About our Speaker:
Patricia Alexander is a career services professional with more than 30 years of experience in higher education with prior experience in Corporate America and the K-12 educational setting.
She is an advocate for career awareness/preparation and a staunch promoter of Education at all levels.
At the Texas A&M Career Center she is an Associate Director. Previously, she was a member of the Enrollment and Academic Service’s Academic Affairs Climate and Diversity Committee (AACDC) and liaison with the “IDEAS” subcommittee.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Education with a secondary education certification.
Also, she holds a master’s degree in Counseling Education from Delta State University.
Additionally, Patricia has completed advanced, graduate-level course work in Human Resource Development - Adult Education through the Texas A&M College of Education and Human Development.
Previously served as an ExCel Mentor and is currently primary advisor to the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) at Texas A&M; is a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoAce); serves as Burleson County Elections Judge; and a member of Brazos Valley Area Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
