We hope that you can join us for an hour of fellowship with other training and development professionals for our traditional holiday event. It's a great opportunity to get to know fellow members. The event is free to attend and the chapter will cover the cost of appetizers and 1 beverage per person.
A White Elephant gift swap adds to the fun. Participation is voluntary. Gifts should cost no more than $15.
Please contribute to the canned food or cash collection for the BV Food Bank: We will hold our annual food drive at the December holiday event. All proceeds will be donated to the Brazos Valley Food Bank whose mission is to strive to alleviate hunger in the Brazos Valley by distributing food and educational resources to our neighbors in need through a network of hunger relief partners. The BVFB is a central distribution site that unites food donors, volunteers and hunger relief agencies. As the hub of over 40 different agencies that feed the hungry throughout Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Madison, Robertson and Washington Counties; the BVFB distributes close to 4 million pounds of food each year. In addition to supplying food to partner agencies, the BVFB oversees Back Pack, Senior Bag, Family Box, Mobile Food Pantry and Social Service Outreach programs to reach those in need.
