About Our Speaker:
Dr. Donna M. Druery is a recent graduate of Texas A&M University (May 2021) in Educational Administration from the College of Education and Human Resource Department. Dr. Druery has over 15 years in public education, 11 years serving as an administrator in a middle school, (6th through 8th grade) and four years as an English Language Arts teacher in high school. While completing her doctorate, Druery worked first as a Graduate student on a multiplicity of grants before joining full-time, working as a Research Specialist on a $16.9 million-dollar five-year grant.
Druery volunteers in multiple roles and opportunities in the community including serving as Board Member of Focusing on Increasing Success Together (FIST) Collaborative; Young Men in Unity; Finetta Beauty and Barber Academy; and Texas National Association of Multicultural Services (TX NAME). She also volunteers in her local church with Sunday School and special programs. In addition to her Ph.D., Druery has a BA in English from Texas A&M University, with double minors in Speech Communication and Business Management and MA in Administration from Sam Houston State University.
