Our Speaker: Dr. Jia Wang, College of Education, Texas A&M University
Jia Wang (jiawang@tamu.edu) is a tenured Professor of Human Resource Development (HRD) at Texas A&M University. With an interest in national and cross-cultural HRD, workplace learning, crisis management, workplace incivility, and career-family issues, her research has been disseminated through a wide range of international journals and over 120 conference presentations. Dr. Wang is the Editor-in-Chief of Human Resource Development Review, lead author of a 2018 book “Optimizing Human Capital Development: A Distributor’s Guide to Building Sustainable Competitive Advantage”, and writer of the Blog “Developing Your Workforce” for the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors. With 25 years of accumulated experiences in teaching, research and mentoring in HRD, Dr. Wang has designed and conducted numerous educational workshops to diverse groups in both the corporate and university settings. Dr. Wang holds a Ph.D. and M.Ed. in Human Resource and Organizational Development from the University of Georgia, an MBA from Aston University, UK.
