Do New Year’s resolutions not work for you? Has your productivity suffered due to myriad distractions in your workday? Do you struggle with the discipline to follow through with strategic planning and vision? Are you in danger of burnout in your current position because you attempt to multi-task, but cannot seem to keep up with current job and managerial demands? Kris will discuss changes she implemented based on 3 books she read that have been transformational for her in her approach to work and life. We all want to do meaningful work that matters and is congruent with our values. But we have to make intentional choices to ensure we get to a place of doing the work we want and spending our time in meaningful ways. Come find out how to plan now to prepare for 2019 to the be the best year yet.

Our Speaker:

Kris Wuensche works as the Director of Academic Technology and Distance Education for the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Nursing. In this position, her primary responsibilities include coordinating online course review and approval, developing online training for faculty, supervising an instructional design team, coordinating technical support for instructional technology, conducting new faculty and new student orientation courses, and maintaining various student database systems. She has completed her certification as a Quality Matters© Peer Reviewer. In addition to her staff position, Ms. W
t faculty. She currently teaches two courses, Nursing Informatics and Nursing Teamwork and Communication. She has previously taught courses in communication, 
Kris
public speaking, and debate for over twenty years at Texas A&M University and Blinn College combined. Previously, Ms. Wuensche worked as a Senior Instructional Designer for the Texas A&M University System and a Computer Training Specialist for Evans 
Library. She holds an M.A. in Communication from Texas A&M University and a B.A. in Communication/Political Science from Angelo State University. Kris was on the board at BV-ATD from 2006-2011, serving as VP of Finance, Membership, and President.
