Topic: 

How are you responding to the stress in your life? Are you happy with your relationship with your cell phone? Would you like to learn some effective brain training strategies to better deal with stress, distraction, and emotions? If so, this session is for you!

To complement and reinforce traditional communication theories and best practices, our speaker draws on research and training in areas such as Mindfulness and Emotional and Social Intelligence to help his students and executives develop executive presence, leadership, listening, and general communication skills.

Our Speaker:

John Krajicek is an Executive Professor and the Assistant Director of Business Communication Studies for the Mays Business School’s MBA, PMBA, and EMBA Programs. He joined the MBA Program office in 2005. Professor Krajicek is the recipient of two Association of Former Students teaching awards, the Nancy and William J. Gardiner Teaching Excellence Award, the Creswell Award for Excellence in Teaching, and the Killingsworth Award in Teaching Excellence. In 2014/15, he also received the Dan Robertson Outstanding Faculty Award from the Full-Time MBA Program Class of 2014 and the Faculty Excellence Award from the Executive MBA Program Class of 2015.
