In this session, you will learn methods for:

· Using competencies to guide employee development

· Using competencies for career development


Gib received his Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from Texas A&M University. He has managed training operations for the U.S. military, a Business Week “Top 100” small business, and served as Texas A&M University’s senior training and organizational development consultant. Currently, he directs human resources operations for the Division of Information Technology at Texas A&M University.

He served as the founding president of the Brazos Valley chapter of the American Society for Training and Development. Gib is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), a Certified Training Professional (CTP), and has completed the State of Texas requirements needed to serve as a court-appointed mediator. He is also listed in editions of Who’s Who in the South and Southwest.
