We hope that you can join us for an hour of fellowship with other training and development professionals for our traditional holiday lunch. It's a great opportunity to get to know fellow members.
The lunch will be held at Amico Nave Restorante in Bryan. If you have any dietary restrictions, please email gib@tamu.edu so that we can communicate them to the restaurant.
Our list of events:
- White Elephant gift swap (participation is voluntary and gifts should cost no more than $15)
- Canned food or cash collection for the BV Food Bank:
We will hold our annual food drive at the December holiday luncheon. All proceeds will be donated to the Brazos Valley Food Bank whose mission is to strive to alleviate hunger in the Brazos Valley by distributing food and educational resources to our neighbors in need through a network of hunger relief partners. The BVFB is a central distribution site that unites food donors, volunteers and hunger relief agencies. As the hub of over 40 different agencies that feed the hungry throughout Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Madison, Robertson and Washington Counties; the BVFB distributes close to 4 million pounds of food each year. In addition to supplying food to partner agencies, the BVFB oversees Back Pack, Senior Bag, Family Box, Mobile Food Pantry and Social Service Outreach programs to reach those in need.
