Change cuts across all levels of the organization and all sectors of the economy. Change is as far reaching as it is rapid. Participants will walk away with an understanding of how to become a change agent in a work group, how to differentiate between the myths and realities about change in the organization, and how to survive and overcome the resistance to change.

Alix Alvarado's expertise includes more than 20 years as a strategic human resources professional in private, public, and not-for profit businesses.Alix Alvarado 

She received a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, an MBA from the University of Houston, and the certification of Senior Human Resources Professional from HRCI. She is employed by the Houston Community College System and has made presentations this year to the London School of Economics and the University College of London.
