Susanna Coppernoll is a thirty year veteran of the Extension Services of Texas A&M University and has facilitated groups all over the United States. These include citizen groups, organizational groups, profit, and non-profit groups, and government groups.

This presentation describes how to move from “bad” icebreakers that often many adults see as pointless activities to “meaningful” icebreakers that engage the participants AND are mindful of the purpose of the program or training AND that are designed such that everyone can be successful and not embarrassed.

This topic aligns to the Training Delivery competency which indicates that training and development professionals should be able to: effectively deliver training and manage the learner and their environment. For more information, visit https://www.td.org/Certification/Competency-Mode
