Leadership: Communication Styles.

Leadership: (Great leadership is when you influence someone to be the very best they can be).

Leadership Behavior: (Discuss 5 leadership behaviors that leaders should demonstrate).

Communication Styles: (Brief exercise to understand different communication styles). It is important to recognize how effective communication can impact your interactions with others.  It can lead to higher efficiency and good morale in the workplace, increased innovation and creative potential in groups, and satisfactory personal and family relationships.

Our Speaker: Photo of Brenda Grays, speaker for BVATD luncheon April 2019Brenda Grays is a Franklin Covey Certified Facilitator and serves as Program Coordinator for the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services Cyber Security Program. She facilitates the TEEX Excellent Employees Program. Since 2013, Ms. Grays has served the Brazos Valley Food Bank as secretary, vice president and most recently as 2018 President. She also chairs the Brazos Valley Affiliated of Executive Women in Texas Government, and is a past president of BCS Toastmasters and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women. She is a 2019 honoree of the Brazos Valley African American Museum, and is a graduate of the Walt Disney Quality Service Institute and Leadership Texas.
